Bio

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, I traveled in the US and Canada with my family, but my first experience outside North American was in 1990 when I journeyed to Rome, Italy for my sophomore year abroad at Loyola University Rome Center. During that year, I participated in travel programs throughout Europe with fellow students and also met my future husband in Rome. After completing my remaining studies in Rome, I returned to the United States and started my first job in banking on the 85th floor of the World Trade Center. The following year, I returned to Rome where I worked for six months at the U.S. Embassy and commenced studies for an MBA. Shortly thereafter, I traveled to work in London for a year and then returned to New York City where I lived for seven years continuing my career in finance and completing my MBA degree. My husband and I moved to the country of Brazil in 2003 to pursue our work in emerging market finance and to start our family. After three years in Rio, we opted for the quieter lifestyle of Panama City, Panama which is where we currently reside today.
